Ingredients:
6 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup butter
1 pound Hawks Hill Ranch Wagyu ground beef
1 tablespoon flour
1 cup dry white wine
6 cups Italian crushed tomatoes (or five 14 oz cans)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 heaping tablespoon dried oregano
2 heaping tablespoons tomato paste
4 large garlic gloves
Parsley leaves from 24 sprigs
Directions:
Heat butter & oil in saucepan. Add ground meat, brown;
Add flour and sauté 2 minutes;
Turn up flame and add wine, stirring steadily until wine comes to a boil;
Add tomatoes, salt & pepper, oregano and tomato paste to the sauce;
Grind parsley and garlic in food processor and add to sauce;
Continuing to stir, bring sauce to a boil;
Turn down heat and simmer, stirring regularly, for 1 hour or more.
This sauce is perfect over pasta or for use in a lasagna! Mangia!
